While they didn’t know the song, the band actually learnt to play it in the meantime and pulled off an incredible rendition on the night! We were thrilled!! We couldn't have asked for a better and more professional band to play at our wedding reception. From the very first song, they created a super atmosphere,with a great play list, and had every one of all ages up dancing all night long. In particular, their singer Maura had a great stage presence and sang every song just perfectly. It’s great when bands look as though they're genuinely enjoying themselves while working really hard, and this was obviously the case with Red Shoes from the very start of the evening. "...My husband Wayne and myself agreed on one thing for our wedding!!! We both wanted quality entertainment from beginning to end. We asked Sinead Conway, lead singer from the band to do the church music and it was out of this world. To this day people still ask where we heard about Red Shoes, our church ceremony was very relaxed yet so memorable. That night Red Shoes arrived at our reception and Sinead once again sang her heart out and the guys lifted the roof. Looking back at photos of our day is amazing..the dance floor was jammed! The tunes were classy and energetic and the band did a great job of our first dance, we think better than 'Palo Nutini' himself. Such a pity we have don't have a big celebration coming up soon because we would just love to use this band again."

Aoife and I got married this past September at Tulfarris Hotel and Golf Resort, and we planned our wedding remotely while living in Philadelphia in the States. Needless to say, it was difficult to plan a wedding while living in a different country, and it was tough at first to find a band that fit our criteria remotely. Then we stumbled upon a link to the Red Shoes website. We instantly new that this was the band we wanted, and after one or two emails with Dave, we were absolutely delighted with our decision. Dave is the nicest guy, and super easy to work with. Fast forward to the day of our wedding...we were so impressed by the band’s musicianship, performance, professionalism, and quality of production. Their stage setup is fantastic, and their sound man is top notch. Red Shoes really, genuinely made the night perfect, and all of the guests and hotel staff agreed. If you’re looking for an upbeat, super funky band to get everyone at your wedding dancing, look no further. You’ll be impressed, take our word for it! They even nailed our first song, “I Only Have Eyes For You”, which wasn’t in their normal repertoire!
